WHAT IS BARC?

BARC is the Baseline Animal Rehabilitation Center. We have partnered with the Caring Hearts Animal Clinic on Baseline Road, and we specialize in canine physiotherapy. Our goal for canine physical rehabilitation is to return your pet to normal function as quickly as possible and to facilitate the pet in performing their activities of daily living. Physical rehabilitation will help to restore joints range of movement and strength while decreasing pain.  

Canine physical rehabilitation uses adaptive human physical therapy techniques to improve functionality of muscles and joints, reduce pain, and promote a more rapid recovery from surgery and injuries. Physical rehabilitation also aids in recovering from degenerative diseases, age-related diseases, and obesity.

Physical therapy starts with a thorough initial evaluation to determine diagnosis, prognosis, and possible intervention. A customized therapy plan is then developed to address the individual needs of your pet.
